1st time in "Big" church

Our church devotes a portion of the 8:15 service to a "Word to the Children." The children get to go down front and someone delivers a special message specifically designed for young children. Today was LG's first time to get to participate in this (shes usually in the nursery during this time). It is not until about the middle of the service so LG had to sit through about 20 minutes of singing and prayer, etc. She kept telling Andy and I that she wanted to go "see Jesus." I explained to her that we can't "see" Jesus, that he lives in our hearts and we feel him. She thought about this for a second and said, "I want to go see Jesus." So Andy (with his Catholic upbringing) showed her the cross over the pulpit and told her that Jesus lived in the cross and watched her from there. Again, she thought about it for a second and said, "I want to go see Jesus." Hmmm...any suggestions? :)

She also saw her Sunday school teachers, Mr. Howard and Mrs. Nina from her seats both in the pew and down front and proceeded to wave emphatically!!! She is a social butterfly! I imagine this next baby will have straight dark brown hair, look like me, and be reserved...total opposite of our little "Curly Sue."
