Big weekend and a wedding

Last weekend I was in one of my closest friends' wedding. Several of my close friends were in the wedding as well. We all work together and I love that I get to spend the day with a bunch of my friends~it makes work so much more enjoyable. :)

We started off the weekend with the rehearsal. Of course, we laughed and cut up the entire time (especially when you put me, Bradshaw, & Teresa together :).

 Here is the beautiful bride~I was so honored to be a part of this day.

It seemed that Sunday was a "recovery" day for all of us. On our way home from church, LG was exhausted...

Carson fell asleep in the car...

 and Andy and I were deliriously silly.

Overall, it was a great weekend! 

15 month check-up

Carson had his 15 month check-up this past Monday. He weighed in at 30.5 lbs~holding steady for the past few months. :) He was a whopping 32 inches long. Dr. Lacy said he is the weight of an average 3 year old and the height of an average 2 year old and he said he wears big hats...I think he was saying he has a big head ;). LOL! He says lots of words~a lot for this age: mama, dada, pup pup (his lovey), miiiiii! (mine), chlo (chloe), ta (sister or as we say it, sis-ta), bye, hi, pep (peppi), naaaa naaaa (no), light, boo~I'm sure there's a couple more but I can't think of them right now.

 OMG~couldn't you just eat him up?!

 He got his MMR and chicken pox shots. I had to stay home with him Tuesday because he had a reaction~throwing up and fever, but I enjoyed it being just me and him all day. He is just the sweetest thing with the most laid back personality...unless you tell him no and then he might just throw something at you if there's anything in reach. :)

Budding photographer?

LG gets a hold of my phone all the time and loves to look at all the pics and watch the little home movies of her and Carson over and over and over. However, the other day, she decided she would just take some of her own pictures. She went around telling us how to pose and then snapped away. Here are some of her finest works :)

In this picture she told Andy that she only wanted a picture of me so he should "get behind me."

 I was told to just get out of the picture all together.

 She asked me to make a silly face

 and for Andy to make a silly face.

 Then she gave me the phone, got up on the ottoman in Carson's room and told me to take a pic of her.

Sassafras~enough said!

We can't bring ourselves to correct her...

LG brought this home yesterday and said, "Look what I colored at school today!" Andy said, "What is it?" She replied, "a grand hawk."

So, around our house and from now on, February 2nd will officially be "Grand Hawk's" Day!!
