Cedar Hill Farms

We took LG to Cedar Hill Farms in Hernando this past weekend. We had a blast! There is so much to do. You can visit the pumpkin patch, the petting zoo, ride the "train," shoot a potato cannon, go on a hayride, go through a corn maze, take a pony ride, etc. We visited the petting zoo...

Took a pic with the turkeys (I felt so sorry for these turkeys~if they only knew what was to come next month :( )

Fed the horses
LG was a little apprehensive at first when feeding the animals

but she quickly got the hang of it and moved on to feed the goats

Then, she and her daddy (and her buddy, Alex) rode the train

Here they are pulling back into the "station"

We went and got our pumpkins from the "pumpkin pavilion." It was getting too hot for me to go digging around the pumpkin patch but we will be going back soon to ride the ponies and check out some more of their attractions!!

Too cute for comfort!!

This was LG this morning as she was walking into preschool. Notice she has her blanket and her lovie, AKA Foxy Cleopatra. If you look very closely Foxy is wrapped up in the blanket in what is called a "Foxy sandwich." She and Andy make one every morning. She also has her favorite book, Go Dog Go. This has been her favorite book for over a year and she has every word memorized. She will sit in front of a group of kids and "read" it to them.
She is just too cute~I am so blessed to have such a fun, out-going, smart little girl!

I rock rough and stuff with my afro puffs!!!

When LG got home from school yesterday some neighborhood boys were out next door throwing the baseball back and forth. Of course, she got right out of the car and asked me to go get her baseball glove, ball, and hat. The hat will only stay on her head for a minute because her hair is so big that it pushes it off. LOL!!!! I could not even handle it, I laughed so hard at these little afro puffs that are coming out of the sides!

33 weeks

Life is pretty much the same at 33 weeks. I feel pretty good. I do get thirsty and have to drink water a lot more lately. Sleeping is the same, i.e. waking up every couple of hours to pee or flip over. I go to the doctor tomorrow so I'll update with any news from him but as far as I can tell, all is well.

Surprise!!!

I participate in a cooking club with some friends from my Sunday School class. We meet the first Monday of every month and have for the past three years. I look forward every month to this time of fellowship with my girls! Last night's cooking club was even more special than usual because after dinner the girls surprised me with a baby shower for Carson!! I was so surprised and excited! I got some really sweet outfits, some diapers, and some other baby essentials! My good friend, Jill, even came all the way from Oxford to surprise me. I am so thankful for these girls not only for their love and support but also for their friendship and thoughtfulness!

LOVE YOU GIRLS!!!!

Buddies

My friend, Alisha, (whom I've known since 5th grade) and her son, Alex, came and got LG last Friday night. They took her out to Chick-Fil-A for dinner and then to Gracie Bleu's for dessert. She had a blast!!! Alisha and I lived together during Alex's first year of life, and he was like my first child so I am so thankful that they live so close to us now and get to spend so much time with us. LG and Alex are big buddies! He really is like a big brother to her. He brings her little surprises all the time. He brought her a little pink and black baseball glove and ball a few weeks ago. They play in the front yard and he tries to teach her to throw and catch and she LOVES it!

As you can tell by the above picture, she turns into "silly girl" when she gets around him! I love it!

A picture is worth 1,000 words!

We were on our way to church yesterday and Andy just decided to randomly take a pic of LG. I think she is thinking, "Seriously, you're taking a picture at 8:00 in the morning...I haven't even had my first donut hole yet!"
